Now that the good weather is upon us I think of flowers, sunshine, outdoor activities and the works.  What does the nice weather bring to you?  The kit Sandy has put together for May is a super assortment of all things sunny, floral and girly with a hint of Victorian thrown in for good measure.  Here is the kit:

The kit includes 5 sheets of Julie Nutting double sided cardstock, 3 sheets of plain co-ordinated paper with 1 sheet of Alpha stickers and 1 sheet of Element stickers.  There are some wood veneer accent pieces, a bit of bling, a piece of pink tulle, and a small wood veneer palette by Art C.  The crowning jewel on this one is the Thinlit die by Sizzix.  Here are the close ups on the contents:

Now you have the kit and the contents - what can you do with it?  Well here are some inspirations from our designer Tammy to get you started.

This layout started with a Julie Nutting stamp girl - Megan.  Her dress is paper pieced together from the kit.  Her necklace is made of crystals from the Julie Nutting collection as well.  Layers of background were created with paper from the kit as well as designer stickers from the selections on the Elements page.  Completed with some misc bling and tulle and some distress marker detailing and this is what you have!

This layout has all sorts of bits and pieces brought into it to give you a lot to look at!  Tammy started with paper from the kit to create some layers on the page.  She used the wood veneer bits coloured with Wink of Stella and some gems to add some sparkle.  A paper cut out butterfly using the thinlit and the tulle to frame the photo were next.  Alpha stickers to title the page with "friends" is all that is needed to describe this one.  The glitter hearts on the side were created using Prima Christine Adolph rub ons and Clear Snap foil in the color Plum Crazy.   There is a glitter butterfly hiding underneath the paper one and that was created using Scrapbook Adhesives Adhesive sheet then covered with Ranger Foil.  It is amazing what you can do with a few selected products!  I bet you all have similar items in your stash!

This beauty was created with some very easy to use elements.  Layers of paper to give lots of color were the start point.  Stickers from the kit make the frame phrase, some bling to add interest and letters as well from the kit.  The crowning jewel on this one is the wording along the top that tells the story.  A little detailing around the edges and here you go.

To top it all off are 2 cards with some leftovers.  Simple paper, some stickers, using up the remaining wood veneer, and the butterfly die with ranger foil complete the look.  Simple yet a wonderful card to receive!

We hope you enjoyed the look at the May kit!  If you are interested in more details please contact Sandy to sign up or just to ask some questions.  She would love to hear from you!
